Yash reveals, “No scenes with Ranbir Kapoor in Ramayana

Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming film Ramayana is one of the biggest projects in Indian cinema right now. The film brings together a huge star cast including Ranbir Kapoor and Yash in powerful roles inspired by the epic Ramayana.

The film is planned as a two-part saga and is expected to release its first part during Diwali 2026. With its large-scale storytelling and visual setup, the movie has already created strong interest among audiences.

Yash Confirms No On-Screen Meeting with Ranbir Kapoor in Part 1

Yash recently spoke about his role in Ramayana during an international media interaction. He confirmed that he does not share any scenes with Ranbir Kapoor in the first part of the film.

He explained that the story structure keeps both characters in separate worlds in Part 1. While Ranbir Kapoor’s character represents one kingdom, Yash’s character operates from another kingdom, which is shown separately in the narrative.

This approach helps the film build both characters independently before their paths eventually move closer in the story.

Focus on Separate Kingdoms in the Story

According to Yash, the first part of Ramayana focuses on building the background of both major characters. It shows their kingdoms, lifestyle, and the world they belong to before their direct interaction begins.

This storytelling style allows the audience to understand the depth of both characters individually. It also builds anticipation for future conflict and connection in the next part of the film.

Yash and Ranbir Kapoor Share Mutual Respect

Even though Yash and Ranbir Kapoor do not share screen space in Part 1, Yash spoke positively about his bond with the Bollywood actor.

He called Ranbir Kapoor a very talented performer and shared that they have met a few times during the project. Both actors share mutual respect for each other’s craft and dedication.

Yash also mentioned that everyone involved in the film has a shared goal to bring the epic story of Ramayana to life in the best possible way.

Star-Studded Cast Adds to the Scale of Ramayana

The film features a large ensemble cast including Sai Pallavi as Sita and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman. Other well-known names like Sunny Deol, Lara Dutta, Amitabh Bachchan, and Vivek Oberoi are also part of the project.

With such a strong lineup, Ramayana is expected to be one of the biggest cinematic experiences in Indian film history.

Yash’s revelation about not sharing scenes with Ranbir Kapoor in Ramayana Part 1 gives a clear idea of how the film is structured. Instead of bringing characters together immediately, the story takes time to build their individual worlds.
