The popular TV series Andor recently ended with a very emotional and surprising final scene. This last scene shows the character Bix Caleen, played by Adria Arjona, holding a small baby and looking up at the stars. The baby is believed to be the child of Cassian Andor, the main character played by Diego Luna.
Andor Final Scene Shows Bix’s Sacrifice and Hope
Adria Arjona shared some important details about this ending. She said that Bix left Cassian and the place called Yavin because she was carrying his child. The creator of Andor, Tony Gilroy, explained that Bix’s decision to leave was very thoughtful and selfless. She knew that if she stayed with Cassian, he might give up his fight against the Empire. But Cassian wanted to keep fighting, even if it meant being away from her and the baby. Bix understood this and chose to support Cassian’s mission instead of holding him back.

Arjona talked about how difficult it was to film Bix’s goodbye message to Cassian. In this message, Bix tells him that she could never forgive herself if he stopped fighting because of her. She encourages him to keep going and win the fight. Arjona said she found it very hard to perform this scene without crying because the words meant so much to her.
The last shot of the series was even more emotional for Arjona. She feels a strong connection to the characters and the story, especially since Andor is a prequel to the movie Rogue One. The creator wanted the final scene to show hope, even though Cassian’s journey is full of sacrifice and pain. It shows that Cassian will never get to see his child, which makes his sacrifice more touching.
