Despite his criticism, Kashyap remains hopeful. He pointed out that some of Netflix India’s best works, like Delhi Crime and Trial by Fire, were either acquired or projects that the platform had little faith in. He hopes that Adolescence’s success will inspire Netflix India to take more risks and support bold storytelling in the future.
