Paramount+ has released the Landman trailer for “Landman,” a new drama created by Taylor Sheridan, known for “Yellowstone.” This series is based on the 2019 podcast “Boomtown” by Christian Wallace and stars Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy Norris, also known as The Landman.

In “Landman,” Thornton plays a character who manages and troubleshoots issues on Texas oil rigs. The show also features Jon Hamm, Demi Moore, Michelle Randolph, Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, and Jacob Lofland.

The trailer shows Thornton driving through the dusty Texas landscape, highlighting the high-stakes and dangerous nature of the oil business. The show is set in the booming oil towns of West Texas and explores both the perilous work on the rigs and the impact of the oil industry on local people and the economy.
The trailer includes a dramatic scene where Thornton’s character deals with the aftermath of an explosion at an oil site, showcasing the industry’s hazards.
“Landman” will explore the world of oil rigs, portraying the clash between hardworking roughnecks and wealthy oil tycoons. The series will debut on November 17, offering a modern story of wealth and risk in the oil industry.
The cast also includes Ali Larter, Paulina Chávez, and guest stars Jon Hamm, Andy Garcia, and Michael Peña. Directed by Michael Friedman, “Landman” promises a thrilling look at the oil business and its consequences.
