Paramount+ has released the Landman trailer for “Landman,” a new drama created by Taylor Sheridan, known for “Yellowstone.” This series is based on the 2019 podcast “Boomtown” by Christian Wallace and stars Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy Norris, also known as The Landman.

In “Landman,” Thornton plays a character who manages and troubleshoots issues on Texas oil rigs. The show also features Jon Hamm, Demi Moore, Michelle Randolph, Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, and Jacob Lofland.

The trailer shows Thornton driving through the dusty Texas landscape, highlighting the high-stakes and dangerous nature of the oil business. The trailer includes a dramatic scene where Thornton’s character deals with the aftermath of an explosion at an oil site, showcasing the industry’s hazards.
“Landman” will explore the world of oil rigs, portraying the clash between hardworking roughnecks and wealthy oil tycoons. The series will debut on November 17, offering a modern story of wealth and risk in the oil industry.
