The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) released its first list of 20 candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections on October 5, 2024. This announcement comes amid ongoing but stalled, talks with the Congress party for an alliance.
Aam Aadmi Party Releases Haryana Candidate List
AAP Haryana chief Sushil Gupta said that his party is ready to declare the first list of 90 candidates if the AAP-Congress alliance pact is not accomplished by Monday evening. Today AAP is looking for 10 among 90 but Congress is ready to provide only 5 which has become a hurdle for the discussions.

Out of all declared aspirants, Anurag Dhanda who is AAP Haryana Vice president is likely to contest from Kalayat and Indu Sharma from Bhiwani. Vikas Nehra will represent Meham whereas Bijender Hooda will represent Rohtak.
For the Assembly in Haryana, which has 90 members to be elected, the date for filing of nominations is September 12, 2024.
