Punjabi singer and actor Gippy Grewal recently shared a funny story about his first meeting with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. During this meeting, Gippy had an amusing interaction that left him a bit embarrassed.

Gippy Grewal once told Mashable India the first time that he met Salman Khan. While shooting the picturization of the song “Character Dheela”, he got his first glimpse of Salman. When Salman was dressed in black trousers and a t-shirt and shown exercising, Gippy was impressed by his muscles and reacted by laughing saying, “Paji dole shole.” But it is not the best thing that he could have said next. Gippy also said that he was disturbed as he was not very comfortable with Hindi at that time. After he said something like, ‘Salman, you’re so drop-dead gorgeous,’ the actor looked stunned back at the man and replied, ‘Huh?’

At a later time, one of his friend and fellow Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh advised him not to make such comments overact or provoke Salman. This advice from Diljit was able to assist Gippy to be able to know how to address the Bollywood star.

As far as the work front is concerned, the actor is now busy shooting an upcoming movie, Sikandar, directed by AR Murugodoss. Rashmika Mandanna, Prateik Babbar, and Sathyaraj also star in the film. Last week, Salman was injured by ribs, but he is continuing the shooting. According to reports, the movie’s unit had erected a set worth Rs 15 crore to shoot some scenes, including Districts like Dharavi and Matunga.

As of now, Sikandar’s shooting plan is a 45-day shoot followed by a shoot in a palace in Hyderabad, the next phase of shooting. One of the Banis of the film has narrated that Salman’s character is arrogant, and the movie will be released on Eid 2025.

In the first schedule of the film Salman was supposed to shoot an intensive fight scene where he gave a real fight to the hero on a plane and Sathyaraj who is the son of the villain. The movie will have high-hilted action sequences and it is said that Salman is teaming up with the action directors of the Mission Impossible series. They have planned to shoot three more action scenes out of which one will go up in the air for a stunt.

Apart from Sikandar, Salman Khan is also going to share screen with Kamal Haasan and director Atlee for another yet untitled movie which will go to floors in 2025. It is expected that the pre-production phase for this project will commence in October next year, that is 2024.
