On August 31, 2024, Shanda Freeman posted several photos of Fatman Scoop, whose real name was Isaac Freeman III, on Instagram. The rapper died suddenly after collapsing during a performance in Connecticut.
In her tribute, Shanda wrote, “I would like to PERSONALLY THANK each and EVERY PERSON that has shown so much LOVE for Isaac @fatmanscoop and myself. He was an ICON and LEGEND, and so many people love him.” She shared a screenshot of their MTV reality show Man and Wife from 2008 and spoke about his generous nature and the positive influence of his parents.
Shanda also expressed her deep sadness, saying, “I’m heartbroken. I love you. Always.” She included photos of him performing and their time together, showing how much he meant to her.
