Kamala HarrisResponds to Trump’s Remarks

During a recent interview with CNN, Harris responded to Trump’s controversial remark about her race, dismissing it as part of his “old playbook.” She chose not to engage further with his claims, simply saying, “Next question, please.”

Harris also recounted a crucial moment when President Biden called her to inform her that he was withdrawing from the 2024 presidential race and endorsing her as his successor. The call came while Harris was spending time with family, and she was initially concerned about Biden’s well-being. She praised Biden’s decision as selfless and a testament to his dedication to the American people.

Reflecting on her political journey, Kamala Harris mentioned her stance on fracking. She made it clear that while she did not ban fracking as vice president, she would not do so as president either. Harris emphasized the Biden administration’s approach to balancing clean energy growth with continued fracking under the Inflation Reduction Act.

Kamala Harris also discussed the importance of bipartisan cooperation and expressed her willingness to include a Republican in her Cabinet if elected. She believes diverse opinions are valuable in decision-making.

On border security, Harris criticized Trump for opposing a bipartisan bill that would have added 1,500 new agents. She vowed to advance similar legislation if she becomes president.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Harris’ running mate, addressed past mistakes, including his comments on military service and fertility treatment. He reaffirmed his commitment to advocating for issues like gun violence and reproductive rights.

As the 2024 election heats up, Harris framed the race as a chance to move beyond the divisive politics of the Trump era. She stressed that true leadership involves uplifting others rather than tearing them down. Harris’ comments set the stage for her upcoming debate with Trump on September 10.
