The upcoming road-trip film Jee Le Zaraa has been eagerly awaited since its announcement in 2021. Starring Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif, the movie has faced several delays. Recently, director Zoya Akhtar explained the reasons behind these delays.

Jee Le Zaraa Delays Explained
In an interview with The Indian Express, Zoya said the major challenge was to work around the different dates of Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif and Farhan Akhtar. They are not talking about dates anymore, she said; ‘It was difficult to line up the three of them, their dates, and Farhan, his dates.’
Jee Le Zaraa is produced under Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby Films. It is scripted by Zoya Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar and Reema Kagti. The film is directed by Reema Kagti and the co-producers are Zoya Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar.
Javed Akhtar, a noted screen writer and lyricist described Alia Bhatt as one of the best acting talents in the present generation. Only that he specifically pointed to her in Gangubai Kathiawadi and said that she performed brilliantly.
Priyanka Chopra had expressed her enthusiasm about the film on Instagram saying that the project was in development before the outbreak of coronavirus. For instance, she said she was excited to work with Zoya and Farhan adding that their team up was perfect at the right time.
This has also added to expectations for the film as Farhan Akhtar has also announced he is directing Jee Le Zaraa.
