Bart Johnson Defends Lively Amid Controversy
Bart Johnson at some point celebrated Lively’s birthday offering her words of encouragement about her commitment and productivity. But some comments to the post accused Lively of elevating domestic violence as a result of the film she starred in, which is an adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s book.
In response Johnson assured everyone that he was sorry for any inconvenience that was caused. He said to the commenter thus: ‘Oh no not at all, I’m pretty sure Lively did not intend to harm anyone, just to pass the info in the book’. Johnson also pointed out that Lively really worked hard for the film as not only an actress but a producer as well.
He said that the movie is based on the book and maybe that is why from the clips or interviews one cannot fully appreciate the problems. Johnson also admitted that there might be mistakes but he clarified that Lively has a lot of passion in the project.
It Ends With Us touches upon such one’s touchy issues as domestic violence. However, the film as well has garnered controversy on the social media where some have accused Lively of not doing enough in representing the causes portrayed in the film. There are also reports off the set misunderstanding between Lively and the director of the motion picture, Justin Baldoni.
