Alia Bhatt, a popular Bollywood actress known for her successful career, once sparked a lively discussion about her on-screen chemistry with her co-stars Varun Dhawan and Ranveer Singh. This happened during an episode of Koffee With Karan Season 7, where she was a guest along with Ranveer Singh.
Alia Bhatt Picks Varun Over Ranveer
About a couple of weeks ago during the promotions of Dilwale, affectionately hinted as ‘kat’, KJo during the rapid fire had asked Alia to choose between Varun or Ranveer. In the beginning, Alia expressed her liking of Ranveer stating that they have the best performances and that they are awesome together. But then she quickly changed her selection to Varun saying, ‘Varia fans will be very upset. I guess Varun and I share the best of relationships.’

Ranveer was shocked by this kind of response. He was relieved from the show but he came back after being recalled by Karan Johar again. Ranveer jokingly said Alia is a ‘dost ke naam pe kalank’ that translates to a shame to friends. He was shocked that Alia has picked Varun instead of him especially after she said about Ranbir Kapoor that he dances better than her in one of the segments.
Alia and Varun who are college best friends have acted in numerous successful films such as Student of the Year, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Kalank. Their combination has rather been embraced by the audiences, this might be why Alia opted for it.
Besides her movies with Varun, Alia has movies in pipeline including Jigra, Alpha, Love and War. This joking aside, Ranveer and Alia are still actually good friends to this date, and continue to be active actors in Bollywood.
