A shocking incident took place in Delhi’s Nizamuddin area, where actor Huma Qureshi’s cousin, Asif Qureshi, was killed during a fight with his neighbours over a parking issue. The tragic event happened on Thursday night and was captured on CCTV.

According to police, Asif got into an argument with two brothers, Gautam and Ujjwal, after he asked them to remove their two-wheelers parked in front of the entrance of his house in Jangpura Bhogal Lane. Instead of moving the vehicles, the brothers began abusing him. The situation quickly turned violent.
The CCTV footage shows both men holding Asif by his collar, pushing him to the ground, and then attacking him. Gautam was seen stabbing Asif multiple times with an ice-pick, while his wife Sainaz Qureshi and other bystanders tried to stop the fight. Despite their efforts, Asif suffered serious injuries.

Asif was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition, but doctors declared him dead on arrival. Police soon arrested both accused. Investigations revealed that Gautam is a known drug addict and has a history of aggressive behaviour in the locality. His brother Ujjwal earns by playing the dholak at local religious gatherings.

Locals told police that the brothers had a troubled upbringing after their mother left home, leaving their father to raise them alone. Sainaz also informed police that this was not the first time her husband had clashed with the brothers over the same parking issue. A similar argument had happened earlier, but it had not turned violent at that time.
On the day of the incident, when Asif returned home from work and saw the two-wheeler blocking his house entrance, he again requested the neighbours to remove it. This led to heated abuse and then the fatal attack.
The murder has left the community in shock, with residents expressing concern over rising neighbourhood disputes turning deadly. Police have assured that strict action will be taken against the accused. The case serves as a grim reminder of how small disagreements can escalate into tragic loss of life if tempers are not kept in check.
