Chinmayi Sripada is a very talented singer and voice artist who has worked in Tamil cinema for many years. The film industry did not give her many opportunities, and some directors and artists were pressured not to work with her.

Chinmayi also shared her experience of harassment by a famous lyricist, which made her a strong voice in the MeToo movement in India. In recent years, she has sung only a few songs in Tamil, and often her singing is replaced in Tamil films but kept in other languages.
Despite the challenges, Chinmayi has never stopped working. She continues to sing and take on projects that she believes in.
