Sujatha Vijayakumar, a well-known film producer and mother of actress Aarti Ravi, has publicly denied the financial exploitation allegations made by her estranged son-in-law, actor Ravi Mohan. The controversy arose after Ravi Mohan appeared with his rumored girlfriend, Keneesha Franchise, which led to a public exchange of statements between him and Aarti Ravi.

Sujatha Vijayakumar shared her side of the story on social media, explaining that she had remained silent for a long time to protect her reputation but was now compelled to speak because the silence was misunderstood. She recalled producing films with Jayam Ravi, including “Adangamaru,” which did not do well at the box office. Despite this, Jayam Ravi encouraged her to produce more films, and she agreed.

Sujatha revealed that she borrowed nearly 100 crores from financiers to produce three movies featuring Jayam Ravi: “Adangamaru,” “Bhoomi,” and “Siren.” About 25% of this money went toward paying the actor’s salary. She strongly denied the claim that she used Ravi Mohan’s name as a surety for these loans. Instead, she said she signed many documents herself to protect his name from being involved in financial risks.
Sujatha Vijayakumar expressed her pain over how her efforts as a mother and grandmother have been misunderstood as attempts to take financial advantage. She wished for her daughter and grandchildren to live happily and together. She also said that no mother can bear to see her daughter suffer from family problems.
