Hollywood legend Robert De Niro made a memorable appearance at the Cannes Film Festival 2025. The 81-year-old actor walked the red carpet with his girlfriend Tiffany Chen, who is 46 years old. Their appearance attracted a lot of attention, not just because of their rare public outing but also due to the 35-year age difference between them. Both looked stylish and graceful as they arrived for the opening ceremony and the screening of the film “Partir Un Jour” (Leave One Day).

Robert De Niro wore a classic black tuxedo with a dark blue tie. His hair was neatly combed back, giving him a sharp and elegant look. Tiffany Chen, a martial arts instructor, looked stunning in a black gown with a sequined top and a skirt decorated with floral embroidery. She completed her look with a black shawl, silver jewellery, and light makeup. Her hair was tied back in a neat ponytail.

This public appearance was not the only highlight of the night for De Niro. He was also honored with the prestigious Palme d’Or award. The award was presented to him by his long-time friend and co-star Leonardo DiCaprio. During his acceptance speech, De Niro made headlines by sharply criticizing the current US President Donald Trump.
Earlier in the day, the couple was also seen at a photo session where they chose more casual outfits. Robert wore a simple collared shirt with a blazer, while Tiffany wore a strapless dress with a soft cream-colored cardigan and flats. The couple looked relaxed and happy together.

Robert De Niro and Tiffany Chen first met during the filming of the movie “The Intern” in 2015. They were later seen together on a vacation in France, which started dating rumors. In 2023, they attended the Cannes Film Festival together just a month after welcoming their daughter, Gia.
