Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock are coming back together for a brand-new movie. The two stars, who became famous for their roles in the 1994 action film Speed, are now working on a romantic thriller for Amazon MGM Studios. The film doesn’t have a title yet, but it is described as a fast-paced and exciting story.

The script is being written by Noah Oppenheim, known for movies like Jackie and The Maze Runner. The film will be produced by Mark Gordon, who also worked on Speed, as well as other hit films like Saving Private Ryan and The Patriot. Reeves, Bullock, Oppenheim, and others are also listed as producers for this new project.

Speed was a huge success when it came out in 1994. It earned about $350 million worldwide on a $30 million budget. The movie helped Keanu Reeves become a well-known action star and made Sandra Bullock a popular actress. The story about a bus that couldn’t slow down kept audiences on the edge of their seats.
After Speed, the actors reunited in 2006 for The Lake House, a romantic film with a magical twist. In that story, their characters communicate through time using a mailbox, so they hardly appeared together on screen. Fans have long hoped to see the duo share more scenes again.

Although Sandra Bullock starred in the sequel Speed 2: Cruise Control, Keanu Reeves did not return for that movie. It did not do well with critics or audiences. Recently, during an event celebrating Speed’s 30th anniversary, Bullock and Reeves joked about making a third Speed movie — calling it a “slow” version for older people.
