Many people misunderstood the clip and assumed he was criticizing Bollywood and the people he named.
Babil Khan Clarifies Viral Video Statement
Soon after, Babil took to Instagram to clarify his intentions. He explained that the video was misinterpreted and that he was not attacking anyone. In fact, he was trying to support his colleagues and highlight the challenges actors face in the industry. Babil said that he admires those he mentioned and respects their work. He shared that he didn’t have the energy to deal with all the gossip, but felt it was his responsibility to clear the air for the sake of those he respects.

Actress Kubbra Sait came out in support of Babil. She posted a heartfelt message, appreciating his honesty and strength.
