Pakistani actor Hania Aamir has recently responded to a viral post that falsely attributed a controversial statement to her regarding the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir. This statement claimed that the Pakistan Army was responsible for the attack and urged Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to avoid punishing ordinary Pakistanis. The fabricated post gained widespread attention, creating confusion among social media users.
Hania Aamir Denies Fake Pahalgam Statement
In her response, Hania Aamir clarified that the statement was entirely false and did not reflect her views. Taking to her verified Instagram story, she urged her followers to be cautious about sharing such misleading information. “Recently, a statement has been falsely attributed to me and is being widely circulated on social media,” she wrote. “I want to address this directly: I did not make this statement, and I do not endorse or align with the words being linked to me. It is entirely fabricated and misrepresents who I am and what I believe.”
Hania also emphasized that such claims, particularly during sensitive times like the aftermath of the Pahalgam attack, only serve to divide people further and create unnecessary tensions. She expressed her heartfelt condolences for the innocent lives lost and the families affected by the attack, stressing the importance of empathy and understanding. “Pain like this is real, and it deserves empathy, not politicization,” she added in her post.
The actor also highlighted that the actions of extremists should not be generalized to represent an entire nation or its people. According to Hania, assigning blame without proper evidence only escalates divisions and distracts from the need for justice and healing. “The actions of extremists do not represent an entire nation or its people. Assigning blame without proof only deepens divides,” she stated.
