The attack has not only shocked the nation but has also strained the already delicate relationship between India and Pakistan. The violence has led to renewed calls for a ban on Pakistani artists working in India. Following the attack, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) issued a statement reiterating its ban on all Pakistani artists, including actors, singers, and technicians, from participating in any Indian film or entertainment projects. The organization called for a blanket boycott of Pakistani talent, extending to global collaborations as well. This decision came in the wake of reports that Pakistani actor Fawad Khan was still set to collaborate on an upcoming Indian project, “Abir Gulaal.”
