Famous Bollywood singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya has once again made headlines by taking a jibe at superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Once known as the voice behind many of SRK’s most iconic songs, Abhijeet now feels that he has not received enough recognition for his contribution. In a recent interview, the singer shared his disappointment and used sarcasm to express how he feels ignored when it comes to the success of the songs he sang for Shah Rukh Khan.

Abhijeet Bhattacharya takes dig at Shah Rukh

Abhijeet Bhattacharya said that people give all the credit for the songs to Shah Rukh, forgetting that it was his voice that gave life to those melodies. He joked that it seems as if Shah Rukh not only acted but also sang, wrote, composed, and even shot the songs. According to Abhijeet, people often treat those songs as if they belong entirely to the actor. He added, “If everything is Shah Rukh, then what am I supposed to do?” His comment was filled with sarcasm, showing his frustration over being sidelined.

In the past, Abhijeet Bhattacharya and Shah Rukh worked on many hit songs together like “Zara Sa Jhoom Loon Main,” “Wada Raha Sanam,” and “Tauba Tumhare Yeh Ishaare.” During the 1990s and 2000s, Abhijeet’s voice was closely associated with Shah Rukh’s on-screen presence. Fans even thought it was SRK singing because of how perfectly the voice matched his personality.

However, the relationship between the two seems to have changed over the years. Abhijeet Bhattacharya has openly criticized Shah Rukh on several occasions. In this latest interview, he also talked about the film “Chalte Chalte,” which featured one of his popular songs. According to him, the film itself was average, but the songs became a big hit. He said that the music was the only thing that worked in that movie.

Abhijeet’s comments have once again stirred debate in the film industry and among fans. While some support his views and believe that playback singers deserve more credit, others feel that his statements are too harsh. It is clear, though, that the singer is still hurt by what he sees as a lack of appreciation for his work.
