Fatima Sana Shaikh is a well-known Bollywood actress, especially after her role in the 2016 film Dangal. That movie made her very famous, as she played the role of a wrestler and acted alongside superstar Aamir Khan. The film was a big hit in India and also got international praise. But recently, Fatima surprised everyone by saying that Dangal was not her first time working with Aamir Khan.
Fatima Sana Shaikh Worked With Aamir Khan
She revealed in an interview that she had worked with Aamir Khan many years ago when she was just a child. She acted in the 1997 film Ishq, which also starred big names like Ajay Devgn, Kajol, and Juhi Chawla. In one scene of the film, Fatima appears as a little girl in Kajol’s arms, wearing a pink dress. This old clip has now gone viral after Fatima’s revelation.

Fatima Sana Shaikh said during a podcast interview with comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa that she remembers filming that particular scene. She explained that in the movie, Aamir Khan runs towards Kajol, who is holding a small child—and that child is actually her. Even the hosts were surprised and said they would rewatch the film to see her in that moment.
Before becoming a lead actress, Fatima had already worked as a child artist in many films. These include Chachi 420, One 2 Ka 4, and Bade Dilwala. Fatima Sana Shaikh also acted with Aamir Khan again in Thugs of Hindostan, which also starred Amitabh Bachchan and Katrina Kaif. However, that film did not do well at the box office.
