Jacqueline Fernandez’s mother, Kim Fernandez, has passed away in Mumbai. She died on Sunday after being in the hospital for a few weeks. According to her team, Kim had suffered a heat stroke and was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. She was in the ICU and was being treated carefully, but unfortunately, she could not survive.
Jacqueline Fernandez’s Mother Passes Away
Jacqueline was seen visiting the hospital many times to be with her mother. Her father, Elroy Fernandez, was also spotted outside the hospital during this time. Last month, Jacqueline skipped the IPL opening ceremony in Guwahati because her mother was not well. A source close to her said that she wanted to stay with her mother during her recovery.

In a past interview, Jacqueline spoke about how much her mother inspired her. She said that her mom always supported her dreams and was a strong figure in her life. Jacqueline also said she missed her parents a lot, as she lives in India while they lived away from her.
Jacqueline was born in Bahrain and grew up in a mixed-culture family. Her mother Kim was of Malaysian and Canadian background, and her father Elroy is from Sri Lanka. Her parents met in the 1980s when Kim was working as an air hostess.
