This song was from the movie Pukar, released in the 1980s. The actress recalled how exciting the experience was, especially because it was Amitabh Bachchan’s first shoot after recovering from his serious accident on the sets of Coolie in 1982.

One of the biggest difficulties Zeenat Aman faced was her fear of water. She admitted that she could not swim, which made filming in the sea quite challenging. Despite swallowing some seawater and struggling with the waves, she believed she did a good job of looking like a mermaid in the song.
