The grand finale of Indian Idol 15 has been delayed by a week. Sony Entertainment Television announced this in a new teaser featuring the show’s host, Aditya Narayan.
Indian Idol 15 Grand Finale Postponed
The teaser begins with Aditya on stage, but the six finalists are missing. The judges—Shreya Ghoshal, Vishal Dadlani, and Badshah—are confused about where they could be. Bollywood actress Neelam Kothari and singer Sukhwinder Singh then make a grand entrance with the finalists. Neelam says that the finale cannot happen yet, while Sukhwinder suggests celebrating music instead.

In the promo, Sukhwinder performs his famous song Chaiyya Chaiyya, while Shreya Ghoshal sings Jaadu Hai Nasha. Aditya then announces that the finale has been postponed by a week.
This season of Indian Idol 15 has a strong presence from West Bengal. Three of the six finalists—Manasi Ghosh, Subhajit Chakraborty, and Priyangshu Dutta—are from the state. Manasi, a 24-year-old from Kolkata, has impressed the judges with her unique singing style. Subhajit, a 22-year-old from Kharagpur, has an inspiring journey, as he worked as a paan seller before joining the show. Priyangshu, 21, studied at The Bhawanipur Gujarati Education Society College before gaining fame with his powerful performances.

Indian Idol Season 15 premiered on October 26, 2024, and airs every Saturday and Sunday at 8:30 PM on Sony Entertainment Television. Fans now have to wait an extra week to see who will win the grand finale.
