Stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra is once again making headlines with his latest comments about industrialist Anand Mahindra. Kamra, known for his sharp wit and satire, took a dig at Mahindra’s frequent social media posts, joking about how he tweets about various subjects like thermodynamics, marine biology, and radioactivity but not about how to improve his own cars.

The comedian also mocked Mahindra’s enthusiasm for AI conferences, suggesting that sarcastic invitations were being mistaken for genuine interest. Kunal Kamra’s remarks came after he criticized Mahindra for sharing a video during the Mumbai floods with the caption, “When life gives you lemons.” He found it ironic that a serious situation was being looked at with optimism.

This is not the first time Kunal Kamra has faced controversy. His recent performance in Mumbai, where he mocked Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, sparked outrage. The parody performance led to protests, vandalism, and even a breach of privilege notice against him. Supporters of the Shinde faction attacked the comedy venue and hotel where his show was held.
Despite the backlash, Kamra has remained defiant. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has demanded an apology, while opposition leader Uddhav Thackeray has defended the comedian. In response to the controversy, Kamra posted a picture of the Indian Constitution with the caption, “The only way forward,” making it clear that he stands by his words.
