Emmanuel’s (Nigerian Student) journey in music started in 2015 when he joined a church band in Nigeria. At first, his family wanted him to focus on academics, but his love for music only grew stronger. In 2018, he got his first acoustic guitar and began teaching himself through online tutorials. Inspired by artists like Ed Sheeran, Passenger, and Johnny Drille, he started writing his own songs about love, heartbreak, and self-acceptance.

When he moved to Ahmedabad in 2022, he was determined to continue his musical journey. He began performing at college events and soon gained recognition. His first big opportunity came when he auditioned for the Gujarat University youth festival, where he represented LD Arts College. His performances quickly made him popular among students, and his fanbase grew.

On February 14, 2025, he hosted his (Nigerian Student) first solo concert, “The Amazing Space,” at Studio Raag in Ahmedabad. The event was a huge success, with people from different backgrounds attending and enjoying his music. The concert featured a mix of classic love songs and his original compositions. The positive response motivated him to plan more concerts under the same name in the future.

In September 2023, Emmanuel (Nigerian Student) released his first single, Tell Me, a song about love and uncertainty. It was well-received, encouraging him to release another song, At Least A Bye, which focused on heartbreak. Now, he is working on a new set of love songs, which he calls the “Love Era.” His music, mostly in English, reaches a wide audience, but he hopes to include some Hindi words in his future songs to connect with his Indian listeners.
