The movie, which stars Mohanlal in the lead role, is the second installment of the Lucifer trilogy. Recently, Prithviraj shared a new poster of the film, and fans immediately started speculating about the identity of a mysterious man featured in it.

The poster shows a man dressed in black with a red dragon design on his outfit. However, only his back is visible, which has sparked curiosity among fans. Some believe that the man is Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, while others think it is Hollywood actor Rick Yune.

Many fans took to social media to discuss the mystery. Some pointed out that the ears of the man in the poster resemble Aamir Khan’s. Some even suggested that if Aamir Khan is the villain, the movie will have an epic face-off between him and Mohanlal.

On the other hand, some fans are confident that the person in the poster is Rick Yune. Known for his roles in action films like The Fast and the Furious and Die Another Day, Yune has played several villainous roles in the past. Some internet users even asked AI tools for help in identifying the person. One response stated that without a visible face, it was difficult to confirm if the man was Rick Yune.

L2: Empuraan is directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and written by Murali Gopy. It is a high-budget action thriller and follows the events of the 2019 film Lucifer. The movie features a star-studded cast, including Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, and Abhimanyu Singh. The film is set to release in theaters worldwide on March 27.

Speaking about the scale of the movie, Prithviraj revealed that it is one of the most ambitious projects in Malayalam cinema. He admitted that at one point, he thought the film might not be possible due to its scale. However, with the support of Mohanlal and producer Antony Perumbavoor, the film became a reality.
