Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is all set for the release of his much-anticipated film Sikandar on Eid. During the trailer launch event, he made a bold statement, declaring that the film would easily cross ₹200 crore at the box office, regardless of its quality. He emphasized that whether the movie is good or bad, festive or non-festive, it will still perform well because of the love and support from his fans.
Salman Khan’s Sikandar to Cross ₹200 Crore
Salman Khan has a long history of releasing movies (Sikandar) on Eid, making it a special occasion for both him and his audience. Last year, he did not have an Eid release, but he is back this time with Sikandar. While addressing the media, he initially stated that his films always earn at least ₹100 crore. However, he quickly corrected himself, saying that ₹100 crore is a thing of the past and now the standard has risen to ₹200 crore.

Although Salman Khan’s confidence is high, his recent films have had mixed performances at the box office. His last major release, Tiger 3 (2023), was expected to break records but collected ₹282.79 crore in India and ₹464 crore worldwide. While these numbers seem impressive, the movie’s high budget of ₹300 crore meant that its profits were lower than expected. His other 2023 film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, failed to cross the ₹200 crore mark, earning ₹184.6 crore worldwide.
