Netflix India has added the popular crime anthology series Crime Patrol to its platform, making it available for streaming every Monday. The show, originally created for Sony Entertainment Television, first premiered in 2003 and has remained one of India’s longest-running crime series.
Crime Patrol Now Streaming on Netflix
Netflix announced the news on its Instagram page with a short teaser, showing a city covered in red light. The caption stated that now, every crime in the city will be under legal control, encouraging viewers to watch the new season every Monday. Fans quickly reacted to the news, sharing mixed opinions about the show coming to Netflix. Some were excited, calling it the best thing to happen, while others questioned why the streaming platform was adding such shows.

Many also joked that after CID and Crime Patrol, Netflix might soon bring Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah to its platform. Some fans even requested older seasons of Crime Patrol, including Dastak and Sartak, stating that they preferred those versions over the newer ones.
The crime series, set in Mumbai, has been widely recognized for depicting real-life criminal cases and raising awareness about safety and justice. Actor Anup Soni, who hosted the show from 2010 to 2019, became a well-known face associated with it. The latest season of Crime Patrol aired from June to November 2024, and a ninth season was announced with Anup Soni returning as the host.
