Paris Hilton, the well-known reality star and entrepreneur, recently shared a touching moment with her son Phoenix and their puppies after losing her Malibu home in the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. Despite the tragedy, Hilton encouraged her fans to practice mindfulness and find joy in small moments.
Paris Hilton’s Heartfelt Family Moment
On January 19, Paris Hilton posted a heartwarming video on Instagram, showing her two-year-old son Phoenix wrapped in a blanket, sleeping peacefully alongside their puppies. She captioned it:
“Through everything that’s going on around us, sometimes we need an adorable reminder to take a mindful moment for ourselves. #SlivingMom.”

The term Sliving, which Hilton coined, is a combination of “slaying” and “living,” symbolizing a positive and fulfilling lifestyle.
On January 7, a massive fire broke out in the Los Angeles Pacific Palisades area, destroying several homes, including Hilton’s. She revealed that she and her family watched their Malibu house burn down on live TV.
In an emotional post on January 8, Hilton wrote:
“Heartbroken beyond words. Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burn to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience.”
She shared that the house held special memories, as it was where Phoenix took his first steps, and they had planned to make lifelong memories with their younger daughter, London.
Despite the heartbreak, Hilton is focusing on her children and staying positive. On January 17, she shared another video of Phoenix and London, explaining how their presence has brought her and her husband, Carter Reum, comfort during this difficult time.
“Even when we were evacuated to an airport hotel due to the wildfires, London and Phoenix knew how to make me and Carter smile. So grateful for them,” she wrote.
Paris Hilton is also taking action to support other families affected by the fires. On January 10, she announced an emergency fund through her nonprofit organization, 11:11 Media Impact. She pledged $100,000 of her own money and promised to match additional donations up to another $100,000.
The fund will provide:
- Short-term housing for displaced families
- Essential supplies for evacuation centers
- Support for local animal shelters
