Freedman is currently defending Baldoni against a sexual harassment claim by his It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively. Baldoni has denied the accusations and has filed a defamation lawsuit against The New York Times for alleging a Hollywood smear campaign.

The fire broke out a day after Freedman appeared on The Megyn Kelly Show, where he criticized Ryan Reynolds for allegedly mocking Baldoni in connection to the legal case. Freedman stated, “If your wife is sexually harassed, you don’t make fun of the situation. You take it seriously.”

The fire has impacted other celebrities as well, destroying homes owned by Paris Hilton, Adam Brody, and Anna Faris. Despite the tragedy, Freedman remains committed to his legal work, focusing on the ongoing high-profile case.
