Ashley also filed a lawsuit in October 2024, accusing Combs of orchestrating a violent attack on her after she commented on the death of rapper Tupac Shakur. According to Ashley, Combs allegedly threatened her with a knife, drugged her, and assaulted her using a TV remote.

Combs’ legal team has denied the accusations, calling them “false” and accusing the documentary of promoting lies and conspiracy theories. His lawyers criticized the production, stating that it was “irresponsible journalism” and aimed to tarnish Combs’ reputation. The case against Combs is set to go to trial in May 2025.
