One photo showed her holding River as they admired the pier, and another captured the two of them sitting in a café, with River checking out the menu. Other images showed the beautiful beachfront location and the delicious meal they had shared.

In her caption, Alanna expressed disbelief, saying, “Can’t believe we were here a week ago, and now it’s been completely wiped out by the fire.” She added that Malibu was one of their favorite family spots and was the first place they took River after his birth. Alanna expressed sympathy for the people affected by the wildfires, saying, “I can’t imagine what everyone that lived there is feeling right now.”
Earlier, Alanna had shared an update on her family’s safety. She mentioned that they had left their ski trip early after hearing about the fires. They drove through thick smoke to get back home and packed their belongings quickly. Alanna confirmed that while their home is near two fires, they haven’t yet received a Level 3 evacuation warning and are safe for now.
