The much-awaited movie Mickey 17, directed by the Oscar-winning filmmaker Bong Joon Ho, is set to premiere internationally at the Berlin Film Festival. The science fiction movie, starring Robert Pattinson, will also release in South Korea on February 28, 2025, followed by a global release a week later.

Mickey 17 is based on the 2022 novel Mickey7 by Edward Ashton. The story is set on an ice planet where a human clone named Mickey Barnes is sent on risky missions to help colonize the planet. Every time Mickey dies, a new version of him is created, but with all the memories of his previous lives.
The movie features an impressive cast, including Naomi Ackie, Toni Collette, and Mark Ruffalo, alongside Robert Pattinson. With its intriguing storyline and Bong Joon Ho’s reputation for delivering exceptional films, Mickey 17 is one of the most anticipated releases of 2025.
