Paul Mescal Reveals Driving Lies to Secure Connell Role in Normal People

Paul Mescal, the talented actor behind the role of Connell in Normal People, recently revealed an interesting story about his casting. In an interview with W Magazine, the actor admitted to lying about his driving skills to secure the role in the 2020 Hulu series.

Paul shared that when he auditioned, he claimed he could drive, even though he did not have a proper driver’s license. By the time the production started, he had only a provisional license.
