In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Rekha Singh, the mother of Bigg Boss 18 contestant Eisha Singh, shared her thoughts on her daughter’s relationships inside the Bigg Boss house. The conversation touched upon Eisha’s friendships with fellow contestants Avinash Mishra and Shalin Bhanot, as well as her views on Bigg Boss’ potential bias toward certain housemates.
Eisha Singh’s Mom Talks Bigg Boss
Rekha was asked about the close bond between Eisha and Avinash. She explained that their relationship is purely based on friendship. “The bond between them is strong and very good. But it’s nothing more than friendship,” she said. Regarding Eisha’s equation with Shalin Bhanot, Rekha confirmed that they share a strong friendship as well. Both Eisha and Shalin had previously worked together, and their chemistry was purely friendly.
When asked if Eisha’s gameplay revolves around Avinash, Rekha clarified that it is not true. “Eisha’s relationship with Avinash is strong, which is why she is often seen with him,” she explained. She mentioned that some contestants in the house may not have such strong relationships, leading them to criticize Eisha and Avinash’s bond.

Rekha also expressed her thoughts on who deserves to be in the top 3 of Bigg Boss 18. Apart from Eisha, she named Vivian Dsena, Avinash Mishra, and Karan Veer Mehra as strong contenders. She feels these contestants have shown great potential in the game.
In response to questions about the show’s potential bias, Rekha noted that sometimes Bigg Boss seems to favor certain contestants. She pointed out that some moments in the game appeared to be more focused on Karan Veer Mehra, while others seemed to favor Chum Darang. However, she believes that perceptions change as the show progresses.
The family week segment in Bigg Boss 18, where contestants meet their loved ones, will give Eisha a chance to reunite with her mother, Rekha. Rekha has previously made appearances on the show to guide her daughter, and this time, she is excited to support Eisha as the game continues.
