Manoj Bajpayee, the star of the popular web series The Family Man, has exciting news for fans! The actor recently announced on his Instagram that he has wrapped up the shooting for the much-awaited third season of the show. Bajpayee shared a picture of a celebratory cake and a slate with the message, “Shooting wrapped!! For Family Man 3! Aur thoda intezar” (“Just a little more wait”).

The Family Man is an action-packed thriller that has become a favorite of audiences. The show, available on Prime Video, follows the life of Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man who secretly works as a world-class spy. Bajpayee will reprise his role as Srikant, alongside the original cast, including Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Ashlesha Thakur, and Vedant Sinha.

The third season will continue the story of Srikant, who faces the challenge of dealing with a national security threat while balancing his complicated family life. Srikant is also trying to fix his relationship with his wife, Suchitra (played by Priyamani).
The show was created by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, and the writing team includes Suman Kumar, Raj, and DK. The first season of The Family Man premiered in 2019, and the second season, featuring Samantha Ruth Prabhu, was released in 2021. Both seasons received great reviews from critics.
In a recent interview, Bajpayee revealed that the post-production work for the third season will take time. The editing, dubbing in multiple languages, and planning the marketing strategy are all part of the process. He hinted that the new season could be released around Diwali 2025, after almost a year of post-production work.
