Ananya Panday, the popular Bollywood actress and daughter of Chunky Panday, recently shared her personal journey about managing her emotions and how living alone has positively impacted her mental health. In a candid conversation on the YouTube channel We Are Yuvaa, Ananya revealed that her parents, despite their good intentions, unknowingly worsened her sadness when she lived with them.
Ananya Panday Discusses Emotional Growth
Ananya admitted that when she stayed at home with her parents, her sadness would feel even stronger because they often fed into her emotions. She explained that her mother, Bhavana Pandey, would frequently ask, “What happened? Are you fine?” which only made her feel worse. At times, Ananya even exaggerated her feelings when crying, admitting that she “was acting a little bit” while expressing sadness at home.

The actress also shared how living independently helped her gain better control over her emotions. Ananya mentioned that being alone has taught her to handle her feelings better. She now feels more comfortable spending time by herself and has learned not to let things affect her as deeply. Ananya reflected on her earlier struggles, where she couldn’t sleep alone and always needed company. However, now she has found peace in her own company and feels much happier.
On the professional front, Ananya has a promising lineup of projects. She recently appeared in CTRL and will star in Chand Mera Dil alongside Lakshya. Additionally, she is shooting for the second season of Call Me Bae, and she will share the screen with Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan in an upcoming Dharma Productions film.
Living alone has not only helped Ananya emotionally but has also allowed her to focus more on her career and personal growth. She is now more content and confident in her journey.
