Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava Release

The film’s release was initially set for December 6, 2024. However, to avoid a clash with Pushpa 2, which is scheduled to release on December 5, the team decided to push Chhaava’s release to 2025. This move is expected to give the film the best chance for success in the highly competitive movie market.

In Chhaava, Vicky Kaushal portrays the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of the legendary Maratha king Shivaji Maharaj. Alongside him, Rashmika Mandanna plays the role of Yesubai Bhonsale, Sambhaji Maharaj’s wife. The film also features Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in pivotal roles. Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava promises high-action sequences, emotional drama, and a captivating storyline. The film’s music is composed by the legendary A. R. Rahman, adding further excitement for fans.

Vicky Kaushal, known for his versatility, has expressed his excitement and the weight of responsibility that comes with portraying such an important historical figure. He believes the film’s blend of action, drama, and emotion will make it a spectacular watch.

With the teaser already released earlier this year, fans are eagerly awaiting what is expected to be one of 2025’s biggest films. The film’s release on Shivaji Jayanti will not only celebrate a significant historical figure but also connect with the audience on a cultural level.
