Shah Rukh Khan’s Journey

Shah Rukh Khan recently opened up about his life in an interview, revealing how life’s challenges shaped his career. Before he became a well-known actor, SRK faced a lot of struggles, especially after the untimely death of his parents. This tragic loss led him to rethink his career choices and, as a result, he pursued higher education in subjects like science, economics, and mass communication.

Initially, Shah Rukh Khan studied to be a scientist, then switched to economics, and finally studied mass communication. He says that during this time, he never imagined he would enter the world of acting. “I had no money after my parents died. I studied all these things because I had to. But I never thought I would become an actor,” he shared.

But things changed when television came to India. SRK saw it as a great opportunity. When he was offered Rs 1,500 for his first television role, he grabbed the chance, and it led him to his first acting job. This small step eventually led him to Bollywood, where he became one of the biggest stars in the industry.

Despite his success, SRK has always stayed humble and hardworking. He mentioned that after achieving fame, many actors become isolated and unaware of how much the world around them changes. He believes that understanding these changes and adapting to them is essential for continued success.

SRK also talked about how success can bring its own set of challenges, especially when it comes to staying creative and connected with the audience. He admitted that sometimes, people become complacent after achieving success. For him, this realization came just before the release of Pathaan, which turned out to be one of his biggest hits.

Looking ahead, Shah Rukh Khan is set to star in the film King, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The movie is expected to release during Eid 2026 and will also feature his daughter, Suhana Khan, making her acting debut alongside him. The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Abhay Verma, and it will mark a new chapter in his career as he works with his daughter on screen for the first time.
