In a recent interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Lohan confirmed that the rock band, Pink Slip, from the film will reunite for the highly anticipated sequel. The band’s original members, including Christina Vidal and Haley Hudson, will join Lohan’s character, Anna, as they’re-team for the new movie.

The sequel will also bring back Lindsay Lohan on-screen mom, Jamie Lee Curtis, and the two actresses shared how excited they were to work together again. Lohan mentioned that filming wrapped up in August, and it was truly a “labor of love.”
During the interview, Lindsay Lohan expressed her excitement about performing music once again in the film. She shared that she and Curtis were so happy during the table read that they could hardly contain their smiles. “The movie is funny. It’s really funny,” she said.

The movie will follow Anna, now an adult with a teenage daughter, and explore the complexities of their relationship. It promises to be “freakier and funnier” than the first.
