Rohit Shetty, the director behind the popular Cop Universe, recently shared insights about the future of the franchise and Ajay Devgn’s character, Singham, in Singham Again. In an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, Rohit revealed that Singham will play a central role as the “boss” of the new squad, which is introduced in this film.

The action-packed movie Singham Again features a star-studded cast, including Ajay Devgn as Bajirao Singham, Kareena Kapoor Khan as his wife Avni, Ranveer Singh as Simmba, and Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi. New characters also join the Cop Universe, such as Deepika Padukone’s Lady Singham and Tiger Shroff’s character Satya.
Rohit Shetty explained that Singham Again marks the beginning of a new phase for the Cop Universe. He said, “The squad has come up now, and Singham is the main boss of the squad.” He added that this is just the introduction to what’s to come, with the characters set to play a key role in future films.
