His family shared that he died peacefully after a three-year battle with colon cancer, surrounded by his loved ones, including his wife, Kesha, and children, Kabriah and Antonio.

Born as Rodolfo A. Franklin in Panama, Clark Kent moved to Brooklyn, New York, where he developed a passion for music. His career started in the 1980s as a DJ for rapper Dana Dane, building his reputation in the New York music scene. Known as “God’s Favorite DJ,” Clark Kent became a prominent figure in hip-hop, bringing energy and style to his work as both a DJ and producer.
Clark Kent’s big break came in 1995 with Junior M.A.F.I.A.’s hit Player’s Anthem, featuring a young The Notorious B.I.G. The track reached No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100, making Clark Kent a recognized name in hip-hop. In 1996, he further solidified his status by producing songs on Jay-Z’s debut album Reasonable Doubt, including tracks like Brooklyn’s Finest, Coming of Age, and Cashmere Thoughts, which helped shape the iconic album.
