Annu Kapoor recently shared his experience working with Priyanka Chopra in the 2011 film 7 Khoon Maaf. During a recent interview, he recalled a moment when Priyanka seemed hesitant to kiss him on screen. Kapoor humorously suggested that if he had been the film’s hero, she would have had no issue kissing him.

Priyanka Chopra’s Kiss Hesitation Revealed
In the movie, Annu Kapoor plays Inspector Keemat Lal, who is involved in an intimate scene with Priyanka’s character, Susanna. Kapoor remembered that when director Vishal Bhardwaj wanted to shoot the kiss, Priyanka felt uncomfortable. Kapoor offered to cut the scene, but Bhardwaj insisted they film it anyway. He completed the scene, earning praise from the crew for his performance.
Reflecting on the situation, Annu remarked, “If I were a hero, Priyanka Chopra wouldn’t have had any problem. She doesn’t have any problem kissing a hero. Then there is me. I don’t have a face. I don’t have a personality. That’s why there’s a problem.”
7 Khoon Maaf is based on a story by Ruskin Bond and tells the tale of a woman’s complicated love life. The film highlights themes of love and betrayal as Susanna goes through multiple marriages.
