Vijay Varma is known for playing villainous characters in films. Recently, he shared an interesting experience with singer Sunidhi Chauhan. After watching him in the movie Pink, Sunidhi told him she was scared of him.

During the launch of a magazine in Mumbai, Vijay explained how his roles have affected people’s perceptions of him. He mentioned that women often express fear towards him due to the strong negative characters he portrays. For instance, after the screening of Pink, which highlights serious issues faced by women, many women, including Sunidhi, reacted strongly.

Vijay recalled a memorable moment at an all-female screening where Sunidhi was visibly emotional. He tried to comfort her, but she said, “Don’t come near me. I’m very scared of you.” This response surprised him, but he also felt proud that his performance made such a strong impression.
Although he enjoys playing complex roles, Vijay is aware of how they can shape people’s views. To counteract this, he is taking on more diverse characters, such as a brave captain in an upcoming project.
Vijay Varma is set to appear in the film Ul Jalool Ishq, alongside actors Naseeruddin Shah and Sharib Hashmi. He is also working on a new show titled Matka King, which features Kritika Kamra.
