In a recent interview, Maggie shared how her children became “obsessed” with the holiday during their childhood. The interview took place on October 8 at the Paradise Club in New York City.

Maggie Baird, 65, explained that their family created memorable Halloween experiences by transforming their garage into a haunted house for big Halloween parties. They often celebrated with delicious donuts from a local plant-based donut shop. “Haunted houses and Halloween parties were a big part of their childhood,” Maggie said.

During the event, Maggie was honored for her work and was featured on the cover of Glamour’s Women of the Year: The Moms issue. She shared that Billie and Finneas surprised her with flowers when the issue was released, as she hadn’t told them about it. Maggie, who is also an actress and comedian, admitted that she usually keeps such news to herself because it makes her uncomfortable.
Aside from her children, Maggie is passionate about addressing food scarcity and climate change. In 2020, she founded Support + Feed to help tackle these issues. During the interview, she wore sustainable fashion from a brand called SUAY, which uses recycled materials to create clothing.
