Interestingly, during her time in Bigg Boss 18, Bigg Boss jokingly predicted that Chaahat would be jailed in the house. However, she managed to convince the other contestants to take her place instead.
Chaahat was originally cast in the popular Star Bharat show “Radha Krishna,” where she was supposed to play the role of Radha. A promo featuring her was even released. However, due to differences between her and the producer, she was replaced at the last minute. Mallika Singh took over the role, and the show became very popular.
During the lockdown, Chaahat raised her voice about not being paid for her work in the Zee TV show “Hamari Bahu Silk.” She revealed that many cast and crew members were struggling financially and had not received their salaries. This situation made it difficult for her to pay her rent, and there were claims that she faced serious personal issues. Chaahat later clarified that these claims were exaggerated and not accurate.
While filming for the Sony TV show “Mere Sai – Shraddha Aur Saburi,” Chaahat had an accident. She stepped on a piece of glass and was injured. After receiving immediate medical treatment, she was able to return to the set and finish her work that day. Chaahat mentioned that she was feeding dogs on set when the accident happened.
Chaahat has also shown interest in entering politics. In an interview, she announced her plan to contest elections for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) from Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. She stated that she is not giving up acting but is trying to balance both careers. Chaahat revealed that her mother always wanted her to become a politician, which has inspired her to pursue this path.
