Arriving to meet him there, her driver for a moment noted, Schrader apparently knows Taylor Swift. Still wondering, she searched his tweets and quotes in defense of Swift. Such revelation helped her to ease off and even enjoy working with him. Thurman said, “The show you see was created by the cast and crew and they were all there for Paul and what a lot they gained from him.” He is so grounded I would say a big softie.”
He thanked her for her compliment about the terrific job Schrader did directing the film since they had limited time in filming. It was fascinating to see a man so knowledgeable about cinema get exactly what he wanted and she was lucky enough to capture it.
Paul Schrader has been making great movies for a long time now, some of which includes Taxi Driver and American Gigolo. During the recent interview he stated that he was amazed by Taylor Swift adding that “It’s not the music that captivates me, it’s the spectacle.” What a superb job she and her people have done in achieving that empire – you have to stand back and wonder.
