Reflecting on her past, Kalki explained that being in polyamorous relationships required clear rules and boundaries. She noted that these relationships often don’t involve people from one’s close social circle and that deep connections can be rare. However, she acknowledged that she has seen people who successfully maintain both a family and a polyamorous relationship.
Kalki shared her thoughts on her younger days: “For me, it was a very different period in my life. I wasn’t interested in settling down, so it was okay. The idea was to be kind of each other’s main person but also be like an experiment.”
She concluded by stating that she no longer feels able to invest in long-term polyamorous relationships as she did in the past.
For those who don’t know, Kalki was previously married to filmmaker Anurag Kashyap in 2011, but they separated in 2013 and divorced in 2015. Currently, she is married to Guy Hershberg, and the couple has a daughter named Sappho, who was born in 2020.
On the work front, Kalki has starred in many notable films such as That Girl in Yellow Boots, Shaitan, Margarita with a Straw, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, and Gully Boy.
