Trump compared Colbert to Fox News host Greg Gutfeld, claiming that Gutfeld’s show outperformed Colbert’s in terms of viewership. He further extended his criticism to other late-night hosts like Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, and Jimmy Kimmel, calling them “bad or worse” than Colbert.
Stephen Colbert had stated in his PBS interview that he found Trump’s personality uninteresting and would not invite him to the show again due to his dishonesty.
The tension between Trump and various late-night hosts has been ongoing, with Trump often expressing his disapproval of how these shows depict him. This recent social media rant is yet another instance of Trump’s ongoing clash with the entertainment world.
